This led to many discussions between our friends about awareness and preparedness, as well as the overall lore of "The Walking Plague". We spent many hours discussing how the Zombie Apocalypse might begin and what we would do when it did. We would talk about where we would go, what we would bring and who would join us.

This was all academic until one day...

I was riding my motorcycle home from my office across town and pulled up behind a jeep with a sticker on it that absolutely grabbed my attention. At the next traffic light I pulled up next to the gentleman driving the jeep and asked him about the sticker. He stated that the sticker had been created by a friend of a friend. My next question was how could I get one? He said that the person responsible for its creation was long gone and no one knew how to contact him.

That's when it donned on me...

I'm a web developer and create a lot of my own graphics and I could make my son his own sticker, a completely new work based on this idea. Later that night I set out to create something my son could be proud of; this led to even more discussions of "you know what would be cool?" From there I spent hour after hour sitting at my computer with a million different ideas rolling through my still working brain (pun 2) and not a lot of people to share them with, so my son and I decided that it was time to get involved in bringing others together that also enjoy zombie lore.

We decide we would start this site...

Give everyone a chance to become a member of the Zombie Response Teams Family and offer our products to the world. Even start their own team in their area and have us customize the ZRT Gear we offer for their team. If you enjoy the zombie lore and all it takes to be prepared for the coming dark days by all means we invite you to join the ZRT Family. In the future we hope to expand this site to include tips, strategies, plans and equipment you may need when the dead rise.
